Pacific Grove Local Water Project
Development Planning, Regulatory Permitting and D-B Assistance
Brezack & Associates Planning (B&AP) has provided development planning, and regulatory permitting assistance to the City of Pacific Grove for the development of a satellite recycled water facility to irrigate the municipal golf course and adjacent cemetery.
Our services have included environmental analysis and documentation pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), special studies investigations, regulatory agency coordination and approvals, and special investigations for air resources. B&AP assisted in all phases of the procurement of a design-build entity for construction and an operations contractor for the Local Water Project.
Diablo Country Club - SWRF
B&AP is assisting Diablo Country Club in sustainable operations including the development of Satellite Water Recycling Facility (SWRF). The Project consists of the construction and operation of a Satellite facility to produce recycled water for non-potable irrigation of the Club’s golf course. B&AP will be acting as the Owner’s Representative throughout the project planning, permitting, design, construction, and implementation.
DWR - D-B Services for Species Conservation Habitat (SCH) on the Salton Sea
Design Build Procurement Planning
B&AP was selected to assist in developing new processes and documents necessary to procure a D-B contractor for the Salton Sea SCH Project. B&AP is tasked with the review and editing of the DWR Design-Build Manual, supporting documents, and developing draft Requests for Qualifications and Proposal templates. We will also review and provide recommendations for the short-listing and selection process for the first DWR Design-Build contract.
City of Coronado - Bridging Services
B&AP is providing design/build consulting services for Coronado's proposed Satellite Recycled Water Facility (SWRF) and Golf Course Maintenance Facility Capital Improvement Project. These services consist of providing technical and financial analysis and advice, facility planning, public outreach and bridging documents required to permit and develop a SWRF adjoined to a new maintenance facility (SWRF and Turf Care) on the Coronado Municipal Golf Course.
